F/T Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT); Richmond Hill, NY, US Exempt; Non-Management Salary range: $53,000 - $60,000 Requisition ID: 2665 Outreach is seeking a Full Time Family Therapist (LMFT) to work in our Queens Outpatient facility located in Richmond Hill, NY 11418. The Full Time Family Therapist is responsible for the delivery and implementation of family assessments, education and coordination of family services and referral services and serves as a member of the treatment team. What You Will Do: + Provide family counseling and/or family therapy with adolescent clients and their family members. + Complete family assessments for clients in the adolescent track in the outpatient program. + Develop family-focused treatment plans with adolescent clients. + Develop and facilitate parent-education groups and activities as appropriate. + Provide individual sessions with clients and families as indicated. + Facilitate appropriate Chemical Dependency Education groups for clients and families. + Provide referrals to needed community-based services, which will support treatment goals and prevent dropout. + Maintain communication and teamwork with clinical staff to integrate and enhance clinical services. + Document activity and outcomes using acceptable measures and tools. + Actively participate in all meetings (i.e., staff meetings, case conference, team meetings and individual supervision) by being prepared utilizing problem-solving skills and providing appropriate feedback to team members. + Provide backup coverage in the event of other clinical staff absences. Outreach’s NYC outpatient programs are also approved for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Substance Use Disorder Loan Repayment program, for eligible clinicians.  Who You Are: + Advanced degree required; LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or higher preferred, Limited Permit in LMSW, LMFT. + 2-3 years of experience with substance abuse disorders + 1-2 years of experience working with clients with co-occurring and mental health problems + 1-2 years of experience working in in an OASAS funded facility a plus + Experience working with adolescents + Experience working in Outpatient treatment + Commitment to providing quality services and outcome driven performance measures. + Excellent organizational management skills with the ability to coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance clinicians, set and achieve program objectives. + Experience in family counseling and parenting + Strong networking and public relations skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders, populations, and cultures. + Action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative approach to program planning. + Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people + Experience with AVATAR electronic health records a plus. + Bilingual Spanish a plus Our employees are the reason Outreach ranks among the most respected health and human services providers in New York City and Long Island.
