Job Summary
Provision of administrative management and delivery of optimum patient care through developing, planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating health services provided by the Family Resource Center (FRC).
Responsibilities
PLAN, DIRECT, IMPLEMENT, COORDINATE AND IMPROVE SERVICES OF ASSIGNED DEPARTMENT:
Facilitate the implementation of the philosophy and objectives of CAMC and the Family Resource Center.
Responsible for strategic planning for the establishment and long-term growth of the FRC, developing short- and long-term goals and objectives, and planning, organizing, and directing all Center activities.
Responsible for the imaginative creation and development of operable services for the community.
Responsible for the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures for Center operation.
Direct decision making authority over the day-to-day operation of the Center and over the Center's program development and growth.
Continually review the efficiency, effectiveness, and need for services offered. Initiate changes in the way clinical services are provided proactively and in response to changing environments. Downsize or eliminate outdated or unnecessary services as needed.
Provide nursing consultation/counseling to individuals, families, and groups.
Responsible for care delivered through the Center, and as care is rendered autonomously without supervision of other health providers, the incumbent must be prepared at an educational and clinical level that permits him/her to assume total accountability for care delivered.
Interface with managers, medical staff, patients, and families to resolve customer concerns, improve satisfaction and resolve service related incidents.
Supervise patient care delivered through the development and implementation of patient staffing and peer review policies.
Establish and oversee the quality assurance program, and ensures Center compliance with accrediting body standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the hospital to direct and evaluate care of complex patients, acting as a resource link between CAMC, FRC, and the community.
Actively seek grants to fund developed programs for non-paying populations.
Develop and direct all volunteer efforts for the FRC.

The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department’s identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.

Education
• Bachelor's Degree (Required) Education: Bachelor degree in nursing, health care administration, or business administration preferred Experience: 7 - 10 Years - Administrative or program curriculum development or relevant experience within a similar setting. Substitution: May substitute master's degree and 4 years experience for bachelor's degree and 7-10 years experience
