Role Overview: Avacare is seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Sub-Investigator at our Sacramento clinic. The primary responsibility is to ensure Good Clinical Practice in clinical investigations by adhering to protocol requirements, protecting subjects’ rights and welfare, ensuring data integrity, and directing clinical investigations according to federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities:
Perform Physical ExamsAssess Lab Values and Evaluate EKGsMonitor Subject Compliance with study drug use and follow-up visitsEvaluate Subject Response to therapyDocument Adverse Events and determine their relationship to treatmentProvide Medical Care for treatable adverse eventsCommunicate with Primary Care Physicians about subject participation if requestedRecord Study Events in subject’s source documentsReport Serious Adverse Events promptly to the PI and study coordinatorFamiliarize with Investigational Products and related documentsEffective Communication with subjects, research team, IRB, and sponsorsRegular Team Meetings to discuss subject participation, issues, and protocol processesOther Duties as AssignedQualifications:

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $125,700.00 - $209,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
