Providence Hood River Family Medicine Residency Rural Training Program is seeking a passionate educator and leadership-oriented board-certified Family Medicine physician to act as program director. Join a dynamic group of dedicated faculty members, which offers robust cross-specialty peer collaboration and business infrastructure and provide meaningful service in our beautiful Hood River community. In this role you will be lead a family medicine residency program consistent with the needs of the community, the mission of the Sponsoring Institution, the mission of the program, and the accreditation requirements of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Perform duties in a way that maintains a positive and innovative learning environment conducive to educating the residents in each of the ACGME Competency domains. * Medical Degree from an accredited medical school required * ABFM or AOBFM Board Certification required * 3 years of educational administrative experience in a graduate medical education program as a faculty member, associate program director, or program director required. * 3 years active medical licensure and appropriate medical staff appointment with ongoing clinical activity over the last 12 months is required. * Present or past faculty appointment at ACGME accredited Family Medicine residency program preferred * Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits * Generous starting bonus and relocation package **Where You’ll Work** Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital, with 25 beds and more than 70 providers, serves five counties in the Columbia River Gorge.
