Job Overview:

Family Faculty will mentor, advise, advocate, support and educate patients and their families as well as hospital staff. Will work with staff to assist families with transition and adjustment to the inpatient unit and outpatient services. Will partner with staff in developing department and hospital-wide policies and procedures. Family Faculty will serve on committees affecting program, department and organizational-wide vision and operations.

Qualifications:

Required:

High School/GED diploma required or Must obtain High School/ GED within 6 months of being hired.Good communication skills, well organized, team player. Ability to incorporate and model Children's core values.Family members of children with disabilities and/or chronic health conditions.Able to travel to all site and unitsA high degree of customer sensitivity is required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills essential.
