Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Failure Analysis: Apply your knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering to conduct in-depth analysis of electronic and semiconductor components, identifying defects, anomalies, and root causes of failures.
Sample Preparation: Prepare electronic and semiconductor samples for analysis, utilizing a variety of techniques such as decapsulation, cross-sectioning, and sample mounting, ensuring the highest quality of samples.
Analytical techniques: Operate optical microscopes, scanning electron microscopes (SEM), scanning acoustic microscopes (SAM), and X-ray equipment to examine and document electronic and semiconductor samples at the micro and nanoscale levels.
Data Interpretation: Analyze and interpret data obtained from component analysis, draw conclusions, and propose solutions to address component-related issues. Data Documentation: Accurately record and maintain detailed records of analysis findings, including images, data, and observations. Prepare clear and concise technical reports summarizing results.
Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including other laboratory technicians, engineers, and scientists, to share insights, develop solutions, and contribute to project success.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical and electronic, microscopy techniques, and failure analysis methodologies through training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical or electronic with a focus on electronic and semiconductor components. Proficiency in component analysis, sample preparation, and advanced microscopy techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A commitment to adhering to laboratory safety protocols and industry standards. Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.Essential Requirements
Minimum Professional Baccalaureate diploma in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical, Bac +2 (required).
