The University of Maryland UMD Center on Aging seeks applicants for a full time Data Analyst position The analyst will support data analysis on several NIH funded research projects using large scale datasets within the Department of Health Policy amp Management at the School of Public Health The position is based in College Park Maryland This is a 12 month position with an annual contract renewal based on performance Salary is commensurate with experience Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled The appointment will begin at a mutually agreeable time in SpringSummer 2025Responsibilities Job duties may include but no limited to Data management and cleaning of large datasets including CMS claims data and Census Conducting exploratory analysis and visualization developingapplying statistical or econometric models for health policy analysis Assisting with writing manuscripts grant proposals and other reports Assisting with data applications and performing other related work as needed This position requires the incumbent to exercise analysis and independent judgment in working with campus partners to ensure that data methods are consistent with federal State and university regulations
