Activities related to college teaching and learning in the Dental Hygiene field, including but not limited to the duties listed below. + Instructional planning, teaching, learning, and evaluating associate degree students in the classroom. + Instructional facilitation. + Assessment of student performance. + Dental Hygiene program coordination. + Student recruitment, retention, and advising. + Lab/climate management. + Maintenance of professional skills and credentials. + Work closely with program advisory committee to maintain and enhance curriculum and assess program outcomes. + Participation in department meetings, coordination activities, curriculum development, and college-wide committees. **Minimum Qualifications** + **Education Requirement** **:** Bachelor's degree and graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program. + **Occupational Experience Requirement** **:** Three full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a dental hygienist. + **Recency Requirement** **:** One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field.
