Position Overview:
Mobility Traction Drives is a growing rolling stock component manufacturer located in Alpharetta, GA. Our finance team is seeking an experienced, hard-working and detail-oriented senior Financial Controller for our manufacturing operations.
The job profile includes:
• Create and maintain financial transparency throughout manufacturing and relevant support functions to optimize cost structures• Automation of standard reporting processes• Planning, controlling and reporting of all production cost centers.• Headcount planning and reporting.• Productive hours and cost absorption.• Investments and inventory.• General support in commercial matters and specific factory improvement projects.
The Financial Controller reports to the FBA director of US-SMO RS CP.
What your day-to-day will look like:
• Coordinate and prepare budget/ forecast with relevant stakeholders (management, manufacturing, support functions) in time.• Manage the monthly cost center controlling report.• Prepare meaningful plan/ actual variance trackers.• Maintain headcount report for all employees including temporary; plan and report production hours and cost absorption (“over/ under”).• Monitor inventory and do quarterly inventory reserves.• Respond to financial ad-hoc requests for information from management, HQ, PC, etc.• Support the organization on general commercial issues.• Ensure financial transparency of the value flows in the factory, propose corrective actions in case of deviations and suggest cost optimizations.
To thrive in this role, you have:
• Basic understanding of product business in a factory environment.• Excellent collaboration and communication, strong analytical skills.• Reporting and controlling experience (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow).• Detailed knowledge of SAP, especially Operations relevant reports.• Proficiency in MS Office, in particular in Excel.• Relevant degree in business administration or related field.• Working experience of 5 years or more in Siemens finance/ commercial functions.• Occasional travel within the US, Europe possible.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or equivalent.• Accounting knowledge.• Controlling experience in a factory environment.• Mobility finance function and experience with Mobility specific tools and processes.

This position is based in Alpharetta, GA. We offer a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The base salary range for this position in Alpharetta, GA, is $97,300 - $131,400 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
