**Job Title: Facilities Technician**
**Job Description**
The Facilities Technician will manage all maintenance issues, repairs, and remodels across various properties in Kern County. This role involves handling tasks related to HVAC, drywall, painting, minor electrical work, minor plumbing, and landscaping. Any problems that arise throughout the facilities will be the technician's responsibility.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems.
+ Perform minor electrical repairs and installations.
+ Handle plumbing issues and repairs effectively.
+ Carry out drywall repairs and painting tasks as needed.
+ Maintain landscaping across the properties.
+ Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
+ Ensure facilities are kept in optimal condition through proactive maintenance.
**Essential Skills**
+ Electrical knowledge and experience.
+ Plumbing skills and experience.
+ HVAC system maintenance expertise.
+ Proficiency in drywall repair and painting.
+ Competency in facilities maintenance and repair.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2+ years of experience in a commercial/residential facility performing maintenance duties.
+ Basic knowledge and experience in plumbing and electrical work.

This is a Contract position based out of Bakersfield, California
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
