About the Team

The ZF Off-Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc. team designs and manufactures hydraulic and electrohydraulic components, controls, and brake systems for off-highway machines.  

 

The Facility Specialist works collaboratively with department managers, maintenance team, and external service providers to ensure our manufacturing facility, infrastructure, and physical grounds are properly maintained to provide continuous uninterrupted service.

What you can look forward to as Facility Specialist:

Address any immediate repair needs for facility infrastructure, grounds, parking lot, machinery, and systems. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential issues before they become serious problems. Schedule and perform regular maintenance on equipment and building systems. Oversee the physical condition of the building, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and structural integrity. Ensure that the facility complies with relevant ZF OH safety regulations, industry standards, including OSHA and ISO requirements. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work. Plan and oversee facility renovation projects and equipment upgrades and replacement. Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions during facility projects and maintenance work. Communicate with management, supervisors, and external stakeholders regarding facility-related tasks.

Your Profile as Facility Specialist:

Associate degree or technical diploma with relevant experience. 3 to 5 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or related field. Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Experience in working with vendors, contractors, and service providers. Familiarity with HVAC systems, industrial machinery, and building management systems. Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures for building structure, office spaces, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Risk management. Identify potential risks, evaluate their impact, and implement strategies to mitigate or eliminate them. Oral and written communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate objectives, and provide guidance and support to other peers and department personnel. Proficient with ERP software applications relevant to the Facilities Specialist role. Proficient with MS Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
