Job Description
EBAD seeks a Facilities Manager, reporting to the Director of Operations. This position is located in Moorpark, CA.
Responsibilities:
Lead and technically support all aspects of day to day maintenance operations including: direct supervision of maintenance staff, including performance evaluations (coaching & counseling), planning, scheduling, organizing & directing work, follow-up, training personnel, and recommending personnel for pay adjustments, employment, or for discipline, termination or retention.Coordinates the repair and preventative maintenance schedules of all facility supporting equipment and processes, to reduce unplanned downtime in order for the facility to operate on the required schedule.Ability to analyze downtime/pm data to assist with developing capital project request to reduce downtime.Continuously works to improve quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.Assure landscaping and office cleaning activities are conducted properly by team or contractors.Oversee the rebuilding or installation of equipment and infrastructure systemsActively participates in and utilizes the Continuous Improvement processes to increase efficiency in all areas of performance.Coordinate and get proper quotes for construction projects or facility needs.Review and coordinate all Facility Work Request and assign to facility personnel, for proper completion and planning.Coordinate and get proper quotes for construction projects or facility needs.Requirements:
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent, and minimum of five years’ experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment and systems, including two years of lead or supervisory experience.Experience utilizing system for equipment and Preventive Maintenance program.Strong knowledge of electricity/electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, motors, boilers, pumps, pressure systemsExcellent communications skills, both written and verbal communication.Ability to deal professionally with co-workers, vendors & contractors a must.Strong background in Lean Manufacturing concepts desirable. Proficient PC skills in a Window environment.Ability to understand complex written or oral instructions, in English. Ability to work from sketches, drawings, and technical documentation.Ability to work independently.Experience in industrial maintenance in an explosives or energetics processing facility preferred.Additional experience includes:
Must have basic PC experience (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook). MS Visio and ERP system (Oracle, SAP, IFS, etc.) preferred.Previous Facilities experience in a Warehouse environment preferred.Experience working with landscaping, HVAC, and electrical systems preferred.Prior experience operating a forklift preferredMust be "hands-on" and assist in completing maintenance work.Background in working with outside vendors and contractors.Some weekend and evening work may be required.Compensation:
Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
