\n\nABOUT THE ROLE
\n\nWe are currently seeking a Facility Maintenance Mechanic to be part of the maintenance team supporting hospital facilities. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you provide on-site technical support so that contractual commitments are met, which includes maintenance and repair of the facility assets.
\n\nThis role will provide onsite support at 310 Juliana Drive, Woodstock Hospital, Woodstock, ON.

\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
YOU MUST HAVE
\n\n\n\tGrade 12 education. \n\tMinimum 2-years maintenance experience.\n\tImmunization (including COVID-19 vaccination) as required by the customer and in accordance with the Public Health Act\n\tThe successful candidate will be required to provide recent police check at their expense.\n\n\nWE VALUE
\n\n\n\tCollege diploma or Recognized Trade Certificate\n\tBuilding Environmental Operator Certification and/or a Stationary Engineer Certification\n\tRed Seal in a mechanical field. If you possess a Red Seal this will change the job classification to a Maintenance Mechanic A.\n\tExperience in facility services\n\tBasic knowledge and understanding of computer software and technology\n\tAbility to read and understand facility blueprints\n\tExperience with large building HVAC central systems, chillers and boilers\n\tExperience with large pumps and hydronic systems\n\tExperience working within a healthcare industry\n\tAttention to detail and accuracy are essential when interpreting blueprints/drawings\n\tEffective communication including customer follow up.\n\n\n\n\n
