About the Role: As a Facilities Supervisor in the Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. Your main objective will be to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including managing maintenance and repair tasks, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. By effectively managing the facilities, you will contribute to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests and employees. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously will be key to your success in this role. Minimum Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent. + Proven experience in facilities management or a related field. + Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures. + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse team. Preferred Qualifications: + Certification in facilities management or a related discipline. + Experience in the hospitality, tourism, or recreation industry. + Knowledge of local safety and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: + Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment. + Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and functionality of our facilities. + Coordinate with vendors and contractors to schedule and oversee repairs, renovations, and installations. + Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly. + Manage the facilities budget, including tracking expenses, negotiating contracts, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
