POSITION TITLE: Facilities Specialist Non-Exempt Position
RESPONSIBLE TO: COO
MAJOR DUTIES: This position is responsible for assisting the Facilities and Operations Departments with daily tasks and completing assignments in various duties. This position will provide support for operations departments including Facilities, Kitchen, Marketing as needed. This position does not provide clinical services to patients. In fulfilling these duties, the incumbent performs the following duties independently:
Submit supply orders and check orders upon arrival:Reconcile purchase order and invoice review process;Place orders and handle routine purchase orders;Work with local vendors for acquiring no less than 3 bids per proposed project.Assist in analyses of markets to determine vendor sources and product availability; Respond to facilities-related helpdesk requests, including performing minor repairs and facilities work and coordinating with Clark County or other contractors to perform needed and approved work;Maintain supplies of stationary, copy paper, forms, and other inventory;Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail;Assist with pick ups and deliveries;General housekeeping;Assist the Operations Specialist in communicating with and supervising contractors and vendors;Assist with agency/department requests and or projects;Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively;Able to prioritize based on urgency and importance, ensuring that deadlines are met;Continuously evaluate processes to improve efficiency and streamline tasks;Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities;Order, pick-up and deliver keys and access cards for new hires, as needed;Ensure vehicle maintenance is completed on time for the entire fleet;Help perform light facility repairs and touch ups as needed;Supports and implements agency policies and procedures.Actively participates and represent the department in Safety Committee meetings, provide status and follow recommendations;
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE POSITION
High School Diploma, or equivalent; Ability to do physical work;A year or more of Facilities experience;Can demonstrate a general working knowledge of the following areas: Commercial and residential construction, electrical, plumbing and inventory control;Experience in a healthcare facility preferred;Ability to maintain composure when interacting with uncooperative or aggressive people; Ability to problem solve; Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis; Must possess a valid, unencumbered driver license with clean driving record; must possess current vehicle insurance;Excellent attendance and a self-starter; Ability to communicate clearly verbally and written; Works well with others.
GUIDELINES
Requires that the incumbent relies on specialized training and/or equivalent experience and performs duties in accordance with Washington Administrative Codes, Federal regulations governing the confidentiality of patient, and Lifeline Connections Policy and Procedure Manual.
PERSONAL CONTACTS
Contacts are with the members of the treatment team, patients, and significant others of the patients. All personal contacts are carried out in accordance with federal and state laws dealing with the confidentiality of patient records.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, speak clearly, hear and use hands and fingers to manipulate kitchen utensils. Additionally, the employee is often required to walk, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or lift and/or move a maximum of 50 lbs. The employee may occasionally be required to sit and use hands and fingers to manipulate writing utensils and keys on a keyboard.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Working hours are spent equally inside and outside due to varying tasks.

Salary: $18.00 - 18.50 / DOE
