**What would I be doing?** To ensure all types of facility maintenance and construction are performed in a safe, timely and cost efficient manner for all dockside facilities **Responsibilities** + To provide primary and specialized support for all mechanical equipment, related systems (i.e. HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, restaurant, plumbing, structural, etc.), and all general building/facilities both interior and exterior (i.e. carpentry, drywall, painting, etc.) through delegation of responsibilities to the crew and personal hands-on performance. + Conduct and review periodic employee performance appraisals and conduct regular coaching sessions. + Job Tasks must be finished in a timely manner according to department standards. **What are we looking for?** + Must be skilled in the use of all hand and power tools related to facility based maintenance. + Must have working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry fields. + Must be skilled with proper application and use of common and job related special tools and test equipment. + Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. + Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. + Highly organized and detail-oriented. + High school diploma/GED with a minimum of five (5) years maintenance experience with two (2) years of supervisory experience in facility based maintenance. + Degree related to facility engineering, local municipal license and/or multiple certificates in various crafts preferred. + Must have valid Missouri/Kansas driver’s license **What would it be like to work at this property?** At **Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City** , when we say "More Fun", we mean it literally.
