Facilities Project Manager Capital Infrastructure

Job Summary
The planning and implementation of infrastructure projects, including necessary documents, construction, and closeout phases of capital-funded projects. Seeking an individual who can manage a wide variety of projects including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, elevator, and building envelope upgrades and replacements. This person will coordinate projects from inception through completion. Assists in development of project prioritization, budgets, scheduling, and cost bid packages.
Travel required to multiple Corewell facilities within Metro Detroit.
Essential Functions
+ Coordinates all phases of infrastructure construction projects including scheduling, planning, design, and construction in any building type in the Corewell portfolio.
+ Assists with the development of project objectives, budget, and scope including necessary coordination with applicable stakeholders.
+ Coordinates and oversees internal and external resources to achieve the desired outcomes, including various Corewell clinical and support services departments.
+ Provide engineering support for healthcare facilities operations and maintenance teams.
+ Evaluate building system conditions to support the Corewell Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA). Determine system criticality and identify needed improvement recommendations.
+ Support system commissioning and make evaluations and recommendations based on the results.
+ Maintains knowledge of current trends, developments, and applicable regulatory codes and system standards by reading appropriate books, journals, and other literature and attending related conferences and seminars. Maintains peer relationships in the field to share issues/ideas. Demonstrates knowledge of hospital safety and infection control policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
+ Performs such individual assignments as management may direct. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the organization. Ensures that patients, their families, visitors, customers, and employees are treated with kindness and respect. Demonstrates teamwork and integrity in all work-related activities. Ensures that work performed supports Corewell Health's mission of Superior Quality Personal Care.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
+ Bachelor's Degree Design, Engineering, Construction Management, related field or equivalent education and experience
+ 2 years of relevant experience or more years of construction project management experience
+ LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan
Preferred
+ Mechanical or electrical experience
+ Health care construction experience
+ Strong computer skills, experience with Excel, Microsoft Office, and other software tools.
+ Excellent project management abilities.
