Facilities Manager

This Facilities Manager position will be based out of Barstow, CA and will be the single point of contact, being responsible for management of multiple facilities in CA, including both buildings and yards for a JLL client.  Several of the locations to be managed under this role are in Northern CA.  This FM position will report to the Sr. Facilities Manager assist the Corporate Real Estate team with the delivery of quality facility management services.  Responsibilities include assuring a safe work environment for the client, on time delivery of preventative maintenance & repairs for all critical equipment, and on time delivery of all general repair requests and soft services. This role will coordinate and manage tenant requirements and service delivery to ensure total client satisfaction.

Responsibilities Include:

Client Relationship: Provide regular communication with the JLL client to ensure total customer satisfaction, and implementation of best practices for a safe, efficient, and sustainable environment. Develop and implement procedures and short and long-term projects for the client by working closely with the Sr. Facility Manager and the client.Preventative Maintenance: Administering PM program, on time completion of all monthly, quarterly and annual preventative maintenance tasks to ensure 100% uptime of all critical equipment.  Work Order Management: Coordinate and track work order assignments for field technicians and vendors.  Meet KPI requirements for on-time delivery of all work orders.Project Management:  Manage planned and unplanned capital projects. Includes project planning, coordination, oversight, and preparing and presenting routine reports to Sr. Management.Financial Management: Prepare and administer the budget and provide variance reports for all locations under this position.  Assure timely action taken on the financial aspect of all work orders including quotes and invoices.  Provide timely financial reports to the client as required by Sr. JLL Management.  Safety Program: Administering the safety program for all locations covered under this FM position. Includes meeting KPI requirements of providing monthly reporting of safety findings, attending client safety meetings, and providing oversight of all contractors for safety compliance.   Administering safety training of JLL field personnel reporting to this position.  Yard, Building, and Equipment Audits: Perform routine inspections of buildings, yards and equipment including providing reports of the current conditions. Follow through with action on any deficiencies found during the inspections.

Perform other responsibilities as directed by the Sr. Facility Manager  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis

​Experience

Minimum of 8 years industry experience required either in the corporate and or campus facility environment. Includes a working knowledge of critical systems equipment such as generators and compressors.

Skills and Knowledge

Strong organizational and managementStrong interpersonal and supervisory skillsStrong presentation skillsKnowledge of real estate, telecommunications, accounting and building systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in MS OfficeComputer proficiency in CMMS softwareMatrix manage both technical and administrative staffOversee multiple facilities of different functions

Certifications:

IFMA certification such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facilities Management Professional AND / OR BOMA certification preferred

Physical work requirements and work conditions:

Requires approx. 30% travelMust be available after hours, weekends and holidays for on call issues and requests.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

90,000.00 – 100,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
