Safely uses hand and power tools as necessary. Assists in moving machinery and equipment. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Maintains and repairs plumbing. + Performs basic maintenance on electrical pneumatic and heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (belt tension or replacement, filter replacement) equipment. + Maintains and repairs office and building interiors and exteriors including carpentry and painting. + May troubleshoot and test machines and equipment. + Moves, repositions or sets up equipment or machinery. May move furniture. + Drives company vehicle to on and offsite locations. + Responsible for observing all laws, codes, federal, state and local regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. Must be customer focused and possess: + A valid California driver's license with a good driving record verified by the DMV; + Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.; + Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, layouts and other mechanical drawings; + Good analytical ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice as well as evaluate and participate in providing solutions to non-routine issues; + Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to work with all levels of employees and to accurately communicate, document and report; and + Basic knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the field. The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.
