In this position, you will be providing professional property management services to the various County-owned parks and sports destinations. Facilities locations include Major League Baseball Sports Complexes, BMX Track, Selby Aquatics Center, Benderson Park, and other sports destination venues. Join our team and apply today!Conduct scheduled building and property exterior and interior inspections of county Major League sports and destination sport venues for appearance of grounds, buildings, and operational functionality of building and site systems.
Responds to customer inquiries and complaints, meets with customers for problem solving in a positive manner. Can, may investigate request for best practice maintenance repairs and providing direction and support to venue operators.
Participates providing input, decision making, prioritizing, obtaining quotes on project or maintenance work.
Meet with customers, contractors, assist with composing detailed scopes of work for various building maintenance projects. Assist customer with Purchase Requisition development.
Ensures compliance with county and state policies and regulations. Monitor contractors to ensure performance and work provided meets/exceeds county standards and expectations of quality workmanship.
Oversees the diagnoses, installation, repair, overhaul and adjustments of highly technical and sophisticated equipment including digital electronic equipment.
Monitors automated systems for proper function and settings.
Reviews, understands, interprets project drawings and specifications. Make, recommend any changes required to meet county preferred guidelines.
Performs project oversight and/or management duties for assigned related projects, can/may approve invoicing for payment.
Prepares / distributes routing and special usage reports to county officials as assigned or directed.
Responsible for Work Request creation, management and data entry in the MMS program (Archibus).
Coordinates with PRNR on storm-related duties including pre-storm facility readiness & post storm inspections and recovery.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
About You
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree, Technical School diploma, or its equivalent, and two (2) years of experience in the related field.
- OR - High School Diploma or GED and three (3) years experience in commercial, industrial building system construction or maintenance experience.
A valid Florida Driver's License at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of principles and techniques of commercial, buildings and building systems.
Three (3) or more years in a construction or maintenance supervisory capacity in facilities and/or building maintenance environment.
Physical Demands: Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
CJIS Clearance: The successful candidate will be subject to an extensive background check(s) as a part of the hiring process.
About Everything ElseStarting Pay Range: $25.45 - $30.00, based on experience
