Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring effective and efficient operation of all facilities, properties, and office services, including oversight of

operational hangars and buildings at each location.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

 

On a daily basis, inspect and maintain the exterior premises (grounds, building, and parking garage), including removal of FOD (foreign object debris) and seasonal duties such as snow removal in the winter and lawn care in the spring and summer. (If Required)Identify issues of concern in building operations, assist with developing proposals for redress, and implement as appropriate and restore / repair buildings as required.Assist planning and performance of basic building repairs, miscellaneous jobs and handyman work as neededTroubleshoot appliances, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other systems and building issues.Perform coordination with maintenance contractors and vendors to supervise and monitor HVAC, extermination, plumbing, appliance maintenance, electrical, GSE repair and other servicesPerform basic building repairs, miscellaneous jobs, repair plans, or supervise vendors if required.Replace light bulbs, ballasts and water filters and perform other regular maintenance as neededPerform ongoing building and office space modification / utilization and allocation, including buildouts, renovation projects, and office moves.Perform regular maintenance as needed on all applicable equipment at the AMC facilities.Other duties as assigned


Additional Job Requirements

Regular scheduled attendancePerformance of adhering to a RAIL (rolling action item list) for project assignment and staying on budget for each task.On call as required for afterhours maintenance in the event of an emergency repair (heating, electrical, water supply)

Education & Experience

 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two (2) to five (5) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience1 or more years’ experience with related skilled trades (Building/ Facility maintenance, electrical, carpentry, mechanic, HVAC, welding, machining, etc.)
