Facilities Maintenance Lead
Under limited supervision, coordinate the work assignments and activities of a multi trade maintenance or construction team composed of electricians, interior finishers, plumbers, and mechanics. Schedule construction or maintenance activities for assigned areas in conjunction with customer departments. Direct and, as required, perform maintenance or construction activities. May provide construction management services to Project Managers, Engineers, and Contractors.

Education:                                  

     High School or Equivalency (GED)

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of plumbing, electric , carpentry, and ife safety codes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to interpret building codes, blueprints and engineering drawings and regulatory standards.

Licensures, Certifications

Valid Driver’s License

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 40 lbs., stand on a ladder, walk up 5 flights of stairs and general fitness to perform duties.

Working Conditions

Work in and around construction and healthcare activities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains direct communication with Support Operations, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Hospice Leadership regarding job status and coordination of emergency repairs.Maintains quality standards of the trade by keeping up to date with new regulations, and new standardsMaintains professional growth and development through attending in-service training, external seminars, actives/events to keep abreast of developments in the field.Takes ownership of the Main Hospital generator testing and documentation.Job requires travel to all Hospice locations to access and address as necessary any life safety deficiencies.Performs maintenance or construction work, as needed during periods of staff shortage or excessive workload.Maintains and repairs auto doors, sets up containment for construction/ mold abatement activities.Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

$25.88 - $42.44

Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
