The ID1 Facilities Electrical Manager at Micron is responsible for leading a team that maintains, operates and engineers electrical systems from medium voltage switch gear to branch panels, instrumentation, controls and fire life safety that directly and indirectly support the ID1 high volume manufacturing (HVM) site! The manager will also manage the operations and maintenance activities and be responsible for any outsourced services. Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, internal/external labor resources. Will be responsible for developing a complete operations and maintenance program including budgets, procedures, configuration of the CMMS system, PM creation, outsourced vendor contracts, working with the design and construction teams, commissioning and all aspects of setting up this greenfield project.
Successful Candidate must have the following Qualifications:Extensive knowledge in the Maintenance, Operation and Engineering of facilities systems including electrical, instrumentation and fire systemsExtensive knowledge of Facilities and plant support systems, processes and proceduresKnowledge of state/city/federal requirements and policies for facilities systems including DEQ, EPA, and DOTDemonstrated success in previous leadership positionsDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsProven experience using efficiency and reliability tools like 6S, TPM, non-standard work planning process and use of sophisticated CMMS systemsStrong organizational and prioritization skillsProven ability to drive multiple complex projects to completionProven ability to communicate and present technical information effectivelyProven ability to accurately analyze and interpret data to make data-driven decisionsProven ability to develop and mentor team membersProven ability to mentor and successfully manage the performance of direct and eventual reportsDemonstrated ability to partner successfully with other groups and build strong peer relationshipsDemonstrated ability to develop and promote technical expertiseProven ability to solicit feedback, accept input, and analyze success/failureProven ability to identify, understand, and mitigate risk before making critical decisionsProven ability to develop succession plansKnowledge of facilities systems engineering design and construction standard processesMinimum Qualifications: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience4+ years of Facilities experience.
