Facilities Construction Manager

JMT is seeking a Construction Manager to be responsible for managing multiple new construction projects for a Higher Education client in Stephenville, TX. The CM will interact with University management, CM at Risk and Architect to provide QA/QC observation, daily reporting and full-time on site presence for JMT.

Background and experience with Higher Education is highly preferred and construction experience in commercial/industrial non-residential vertical type projects is essential. We’re looking for a long-term fit that will grow with the Facilities PM/CM group in Dallas/Fort Worth or other regions with JMT presence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain excellent relationships with clients, building occupants, architects/engineers, and contractors Manage and coordinate inspection staff Manage project schedule from inception to close out Participate in project job-site meetings Review contractor work in place to ensure compliance with plans and specifications Review and approve contractor monthly requisitions and invoices Efficient change order management and cost control Report on project issues and provide status updates Perform other duties as may be required
