This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing budgeting, overseeing maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and managing the company's assets effectively.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
A relevant degree will be beneficial 10+ years' experience in a similar role, exposure to all facility management disciplines will be advantageous Asset management – Prior experience in a manufacturing industry / facility management will be beneficial Project Management – Proven track record of engineering, maintenance, assets life cycles projects Operation Performance - Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) optimisation Risk Management – Identify possible risks and implement mitigation strategies (PPM) Technical experience – Understand various maintenance methodologies and industry best standards Administration - Compiling SOP’s and reporting structures DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance Management:
Develop and manage budgets for property maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effective solutions. Oversee the daily operations of the company’s properties, including maintenance, repairs and renovations Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure all facilities are in optimal condition Manage and supervise maintenance staff, contractors and vendors to ensure timely and quality work Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address any issues or potential hazards Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes Coordinate with other departments to support their facility needs and requirements Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and asset inventories Respond to emergency maintenance requests and ensure prompt resolution of issues Develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency and sustainability of facilities Health and Safety Management:
Ensure company compliance with health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular health and safety audits and risk assessments Ensure all staff are trained in health and safety protocols Asset Management:
Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize the use and value of the company's assets Maintain an accurate asset register and ensure all assets are properly documented and tracked Conduct regular asset audits and assessments to ensure assets are in good condition and properly utilized Plan and oversee the acquisition, disposal, and replacement of assets Ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures
