The Facilitator (FAC) is responsible for facilitating, coordinating, recording and managing technical meetings involving Subject Matter Experts, program staff, technology staff, business staff, contractors, and other stakeholders.  

Complete Description:

The Facilitator (FAC) is responsible for facilitating, coordinating, recording and managing meetings involving Subject Matter Experts, program staff, technology staff, business staff, contractors, and other stakeholders.  These sessions are typically information gathering meetings to make decisions and document. The Facilitator is personable, a good listener, well organized, a proficient writer, and can actively manage meetings. This is usually a discipline for larger projects where a Planning or Project Manager requires a meeting specialist.

 

FAC

Years of Relevant Experience: 2 to 5 years

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

 

Role Description:

•Experience facilitating meetings for multi-year projects.

•Assist the Project Management Team as necessary.

•Monitor and review any status reports and track the progress of open action items.

•Prepare project Status reports for the Sponsors, State Project management team, and others, as prescribed.

•Work with the State Project Director and project staff on updating and refreshing all project documentation.

•Communicate verbally and in writing to multiple project stakeholders internal and external to the organization.

•Assist and prepare project communications and announcements.

•Coordinate project tracking and reporting.

•Track and Report on project deliverables.

•Track and Report on project budget.

•Track and Report on status, risks, issues, and other areas as needed.

•Schedule project meetings.

•Capture and distribute meeting minutes.

•Perform other duties as assigned.
