Job Description

Purpose:

To ensure that learners are trained, assessed and certified as competent in the relevant Unit Standard by meeting the company and the SAQA standards 

 

Main responsibilities:

Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of training roomsAssisting with Registration process and documentationEnsuring that the appropriate training material, stationery and equipment is available and in excellent working order before the Training Session commencesCreating and nurturing a positive learning environment that stimulates learning and motivates the DelegateFacilitating programmes according to the Facilitator Guide, the self-prepared Lesson Plan and SAQA facilitation best practiceEvaluating assessmentsProviding assessment feedbackReviewing and summarising course evaluations

 

Minimum requirements:

Matric, coupled with Assessor and / or Moderator qualification and experienceFirst Aid and Fire Fighting training experienceMust have a safety qualificationFacilitate Working at Heights3 -5 years site experience in safetyMust be fluent in ZuluMust be willing to travel to other branches as and when requiredOwn Transport
