Fabrication technicians fabricate and assemble mechanical and electrical designs needed to support all facility and production requirements involving work of a varied nature with minimal and/or no supervision. Will work with others as a team to develop design solutions/suggestions to resolve failures and drive improvements.
Highlights of your role Increase design reliability through the development of preventive and predictive maintenance requirements and diagnostic testing.Reviews with the Product Group teams and Fabrication Team Leader on design proposals, to include; prioritizing and planning of all fabrication requests.Consistently ensures all safety, quality, 5S, and work place improvements are met.Assist Suppliers, Purchasing, and Storeroom clerks with design component identification and appropriate stocking levels.You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Excel in all maintenance related fields; electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, machine shop, and fabrication.Can communicate effectively with team members.
