Volt is immediately hiring for Fabrication Specialist in North Charleston, SC

Position Type: Full time contract

\r\n\r\n

Duration: 6 months

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

As a Fabrication Specialist you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPerforms machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasks.\r\n\tPerforms composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks.\r\n\tAssembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.\r\n\tAssembles, repairs, modifies and installs various power plants and drive trains.\r\n\tPerform soldering on electronic and avionics products.\r\n\tAssembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products.\r\n\tPrepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests.\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tFabrication/ manufacturing experience\r\n\tHigh school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years’ related experience in Assembly Fabrication\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Pay Range: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour.

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
