Work Performed:

Sets up and operates Rolls, Power Brakes, Hydraulic Presses and Punch Presses as required to perform a variety of Production and experimental work where diversified setups and methods must be devised to form complicated extrusions and contours. Selects proper dies. Fabricates trial part and checks part to print, template, sketch or layout and makes final run. Occasionally required to make own shims or simple dies. May perform forming and finishing operations before or after fabrication operation such as filing, grinding, straightening etc.

Tools Equipment Used:

Rolls, grinders, precision measuring instruments, power brakes, templates, hydraulic presses, hand tools, saws and punch presses.

Experience Other Requirements:

Three years related experience.
