**Description** Job Title: Fabrication Supervisor Location: Omaha, NE Reporting to: Fabrication General Foreman Essential Job Functions: • Manage daily operation from fabrication orders to comply with customer orders • Maintain acceptable yield levels on all products and from previous day to make necessary adjustments • Perform safety walks at the start of each period correcting any non-compliance issues • Work with Quality Control to ensure appropriate product quality • Follow disciplinary procedures with hourly employees • Keep track of employee hours • Contributes to the ongoing development of JBS policies and procedures • Perform other related duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position Required Experience: • Experience in fabrication or slaughter operations, preferred but not required • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the meat/food industry, preferred but not required • Experience leading a team preferred but not required. Skills/Abilities Required: • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Exhibit problem solving and leadership qualities • Establish and maintain working relationships • Must be able to walk and or climb stairs for extended periods of time • Ability to work in a loud environment with slick floors and very hot or cold environments • Ability to work 50-55 hours per week with some Saturday work if necessary • Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time JBS is an equal opportunity employer.
