Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and specifications to create high-quality products in a timely manner. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively on construction projects. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring that all components meet the required standards and specifications, contributing to the overall success of our construction management efforts. Responsibilities: + Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. + Fabricate components according to project specifications, ensuring high quality and precision. + Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. + Utilize software for accurate pricing and estimating of materials needed for projects. + Engage in project management activities, including scheduling and coordinating with subcontractors on construction sites. + Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms for materials and services. + Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. + Conduct regular inspections of fabricated products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Skills: + Proficiency in using HeavyBid for construction estimating and pricing. + Strong knowledge of Bluebeam for document management and collaboration. + Excellent project management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships. + Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations. + Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors. + Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all fabrication tasks. + Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration within teams.
