This position reports to

Quality Specialist

Your role and responsibilities

Collaborates in improving existing test protocols and capability, resulting in greater efficiency, accuracy, and/or reliability of test outcomes. Evaluates quantitative metrics that provide descriptive data for the determination of compliance to requirements. Utilizes safety systems to perform work, resulting in an accident-free workplace. Notifies others when unsafe situations are observed and works with local HSE teams to improve the safety systems. Trains local operational teams in quality assurance & testing routines, and verifies testing is performed as a part of the specified control plans.Good written and oral communication skills.Experience using computers Microsoft office apps like excel, word and web applications.Skilled in using measuring tools.Inspect and test parts, products and systems from suppliers and internally produced to ensure only conform items are released to the next stage and finally to customer.Employ standard test protocols and apply specifications to ensure quality.

Qualifications for the role

High School diploma/GED is required3 years’ experience in assembly, wiring, and/or fabricationCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
