Join Micron Technology in Manassas, Virginia as a Dry Etch Equipment Maintenance Technician. You will maintain and improve advanced equipment and processes, supporting our mission.
**General & Physical Requirements**
+ Spend a large portion of your shift walking or standing.
+ Perform light assembly with hand-held tools weighing less than 3 lbs.
+ Lift up to 40 lbs and move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
+ Wear personal protective gear including a respirator.
+ Perform tasks while stooping, crouching, kneeling, or crawling.
+ Climb ladders and work with arms raised above head level.
+ Maintain up-to-date training profiles and demonstrate core values: People, Innovation, Tenacity, Collaboration, and Customer Focus.
+ Be flexible to work any shift and rotate shifts as needed, typically 12 hours long.
Align with Standards for Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Business Continuity
+ Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance.
+ Actively participate in the EHSS program by reporting concerns immediately.
+ Promote a positive safety culture and hold team members accountable.
+ Ensure all compliance-related tasks are completed per existing requirements.
**Qualifications**
+ Basic to intermediate knowledge of AC/DC circuits and basic electronic components.
+ Understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving, at least to an algebraic level.
+ Basic PC skills including MS Office.
+ Strong mechanical proficiency and ability to use schematic diagrams.
+ Effective time management and prioritization skills.
+ Proven ability to multitask complex projects and work with minimal supervision.
+ Demonstrated teamwork skills with a focus on effective team dynamics.
**Equipment and Process**
+ Use a detailed approach to resolve long-term equipment issues.
+ Improve best known methods and documentation for maintenance and recovery.
+ Contribute to KT sessions on difficult fixes.
+ Identify and implement procedural and documentation changes.
+ React appropriately to tool trends and yield concerns.
+ Establish and continuously improve documentation and procedures.
+ Promote and adhere to TPM core beliefs and documentation requirements.
+ Engage in focus teams to resolve problems and drive TPM metrics.
+ Regularly meet with your supervisor to set expectations and review accountability.
**Project Management/Planning**
+ Partner with equipment engineers and shift owners to handle projects.
+ Ensure project results are completed on time and within scope.
+ Track actions and provide resources to complete projects on time.
+ Support business processes for new tool installations, modifications, and removals.
**Other Responsibilities**
+ Be flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments as business requires.
+ Additional overtime may be requested.
**Minimum Required Qualifications**
+ AA in Electronics or equivalent military experience.
+ Basic understanding of physics concepts, SPC principles, and semiconductor equipment.
+ Basic knowledge of test and calibration equipment (O-scopes, multimeters).
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 5+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance.
+ Prior experience with high vacuum systems and plasma RF systems.
+ Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize activities.
+ Experience with robotic systems and strong customer relations skills.
+ Demonstrated teamwork, organizational skills, and leadership abilities.
