Provide training and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring a skilled and safety-conscious workforce. + **Test and Repair Systems** : Conduct functional and operational tests on avionics and aircraft systems, ensuring that repairs are made to the highest quality standards and meet engineering specifications. + **Problem-Solving Excellence** : Diagnose and repair electrical/avionics components using best practices such as soldering, splicing, and pinning of wiring. + **Ensure Quality** : Oversee installations to ensure compliance with engineering changes and modifications. Maintain thorough documentation of all work performed on aircraft. + **Set Up & Operate Equipment** : Set up and use test equipment to evaluate system performance and reliability. + **Lead Compliance & Safety** : Enforce safety protocols, maintain FOD, tool control, and 5-S programs, and ensure all operations meet regulatory standards. + **Adapt to Schedule Changes** : Work with the team to adjust to sudden changes while keeping projects on track. **Qualifications & Requirements:** **Required:** + High School Diploma or GED + 6 years of experience in avionics/electrical systems OR 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics + 4 years of experience + Demonstrated expertise in avionics testing, troubleshooting, and component repairs + Live aircraft experience + Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints **Preferred:** + A&P (FAA Airframe & Powerplant) license + FCC License and NCATT Certification + Proficiency in other aircraft systems (e.g., hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls) + APU or engine run qualification + Experience in flight testing and aircraft certification **Why Join Us?** At PDS Tech, we are at the forefront of aerospace innovation, and we want you to be part of our success story.
