The F135 Production Program Management Office (Production PMO) is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the F135 Production Affordability Associate Director. This position is a member of the F135 Program Management Office and will be responsible for leading the Affordability team and all strategic initiatives associated with Production Affordability for the F135 as well as their implementation and execution. Additionally, the Production Affordability Associate Director owns the strategy, cost and schedule management of the F135 War on Cost and Safety discretionary budget.
**What You Will Do:**
The Production Affordability Associate Director will own the budget, schedule, and the technical responsibility required in reporting monthly cost & schedule data to the Joint Program Office and be responsible for leading the team that compiles and delivers CDRLs A088 & A064.
+ This role also owns strategic and cost-related initiatives that support the Production PMO as the lead for Affordability scope within the F135 Production acquisition and contract execution phases.
+ Lead the strategy, implementation and execution of Affordability goals and initiatives for F135 Production.
+ Develop strategic and cost-related initiatives that support the Production PMO as the lead for Affordability scope within the F135 Production acquisition and contract execution phases.
+ Lead the Affordability team and ensure that all F135 Production tasks and initiatives are executed, and contractual requirements (such as CDRLs A088 & A064) are delivered on-time and within budget.
+ Lead root cause investigations of cost and schedule variances, drive recovery plans, lead various integrated program meetings such as the P&W F135 Affordability IPT, War on Cost Executive Review, and Product Cost Reduction IPT.
+ Identify process improvement opportunities and empower team to implement appropriate actions to achieve improvements and contribute to program achievements with the CORE operating system.
+ Promote innovative and collaborative culture across the program and ensure robust pipeline of cost reduction ideas are generated for F135 Production.
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree required
+ 8+ years’ experience in Affordability, Program Management, Finance, Operations or Supply Chain.
+ Deep management and leadership knowledge to directly and indirectly lead cross department teams and foster a positive culture of inclusiveness and collaboration
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
+ Program management skills and proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and business results
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Experience in building strong relationships with internal & external customers through a positive culture, commitment, credibility and transparency
+ CORE or other lean manufacturing/continuous improvement operating experience
+ Knowledge of EVMS or relevant cost & schedule management in the Aerospace and Defense industry a plus
+ Strong communication and presentation skills

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
