F135 Sustainment has a rare opportunity for a F135 Inventory Specialist at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point NC.

This is a fast-paced F135 Sustainment position at the F135 "B" variant center of excellence, supporting both F135 Depot Production and F135 customers around the globe.

What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities:  As a F135 Inventory Specialist, you will perform Pratt & Whitney's technical oversight of the F135 Global Spares Pool inventory located within the Defense Logistics Agency warehouse at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina.

Customer Focus - Work with F135 Fleet Logistics Specialists to ensure F135 Sustainment delivers on-time our promise to customers in the field, deployed and afloat, while remaining compliant with Global Trade import / export polices.

Depot Production – Participate in forecasting, production planning, and timely transfer of F135 materials from the F135 Warehouse to support scheduled and unscheduled depot need -- not just locally, but across the global F135 enterprise.

Process Improvement – Leverage RTX / Pratt & Whitney process improvement tools in pursuit of Kaizen across every aspect of our business.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelors in Business Supply Chain or related field

+5 Years of combined Supply Chain, Logistics, and / or Warehousing experience, or 3+ years with an advanced degree

US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Qualifications We Prefer: 

F135 Experience

Familiarity with Joint Classification List for import / export ITAR compliance

SAP / Database Administration Experience

Active Secret Clearance

What is my role type?

This role is Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.

This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. 

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
