JOB PURPOSE

The F&B Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supervising and controlling the team while providing the highest levels of customer service and driving financial performance to achieve the brand and store targets. He/she engages with and assists customers, supervises employees, and carries out directives given.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-        Supervise different restaurant operations such as participating in the opening and closing procedure, checking maintenance, and managing shifts.

-        Manage and supervise the work of a team to ensure that exceptional customer service is being properly implemented and that the team is achieving defined objectives and standards.

-        Plan, organize, and supervise the production of the gelato preparation and presentation process to maintain high quality standards and brand specification.

-        Execute Venchi's visual merchandising standards for consistent and appealing shop decorations.

-        Implement and monitor hygienic policies and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.

-        Continuously seek and identify opportunities to improve store performance and profitability within the market.

-        Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate responsibilities to team members for the smooth flow of operations.

-        Contribute to the preparation and implementation of sales promotions and marketing initiatives. Assist the store manager in achieving the store's sales and profitability targets through proactive collaboration.

-        Train and motivate the team to ensure that the retail department has the required skills and maximize their potential contribution to the company.

LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

Language Proficiency

-        Fluency in English.

-        Fluency in Arabic is a plus.

Technical Skills

-        Proficiency in MS Office.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

General Experience

Four to six years of experience in F&B Operations, or a similar role. 

Managerial Experience

Two years of experience in a managerial role.
