From subassembly to the flight line, our Manufacturing Test Engineers (MTE) play a vital role in delivering operational excellence and program success.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Test Engineering Support:
• Provide test equipment, procedures, and on-floor support to ensure functional compliance of F-35 aircraft during the build cycle.
Program Lifecycle Integration:
• Support all stages of the F-35 program lifecycle, including subassembly, integration, and final flight-line testing.
Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement:
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain schedule integrity and performance standards.
• Develop and refine test procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaboration and Execution:
• Work closely with manufacturing teams, design engineers, and leadership to ensure seamless operations.
• Contribute to hands-on applications of engineering principles to optimize aircraft performance and quality.

Who You Are
• You are a motivated and detail-oriented engineer with a passion for hands-on problem-solving and a commitment to quality.
• You thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, excel in collaborative settings, and demonstrate a desire to grow and innovate within the aerospace industry.
This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in avionics systems (F-35, F-16, &/or F-22)
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and test equipment in a production environment.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited college or university.
• Previous F-35 avionics experience or exposure to F-35 program operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for hands-on applications of engineering principles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines.
• Demonstrated analytical troubleshooting abilities to solve complex system-level problems
• Member of the SME, SAE, ASME, or other similar technical organization
• Design, build club/project experience (i.e., SAE Formula and Baja)
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
• Ability to succeed in dynamic, elevated-urgency environments with multi-directional deliverables
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
