Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a F-35 Principal/Senior Principal Project Management (Master Planner) to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our F-35 organization. This role is located onsite in El Segundo, California.

This key role is an exciting opportunity for a Master Planner position supporting the F-35 program. This individual will manage all schedule baseline plans and artifacts and ensure all changes and proposals are integrated in support of contract execution for the Support Equipment team under the Fleet Readiness and Sustainment operating unit.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain schedules for the program baselineIntegrate cross-functional teams to provide inputs for complete and comprehensive schedule change requests for program leadership approvalLead coordination with the internal stakeholders and customer on changes to baseline and integrate plans to gain required concurrencesSupport and integrate changes/proposals ensuring requirements capture expected changes, in accordance with program approvals, prior to acceptance of contract updateDevelop and release Basic Assumptions Memorandums (BAMs) as required and communicate changes to programCreate and manage visibility of schedule metrics for critical/high-risk parts that track performance, as well as risks or issuesIntegrate recovery/workaround schedules to ensure contractual requirements are metProvide current and forecasted demand profiles and recommendations for what-if planning scenarios, long range strategic planning efforts, and capacity analysis to meet critical milestonesDevelop PowerPoint presentations and present to program leadership proposed schedule changes, what-if scenarios, or other relevant material at customer or program level meetings like business integration reviewsEnsure adherence to documented planning processes and update procedures as required

Basic Qualifications Principal Project Management (Level 3):

Must have a Bachelor's Degree a minimum of 6 years or 4 years of experience with a Masters Degree of any/combined experience in the following: Supply Chain; Project Management, Program Management; Program Scheduling; Program Cost Analysis; Subcontracts Administration, Procurement or other related GSC field OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain; Project Management, Program Management; Program Scheduling; Program Cost Analysis; Subcontracts Administration, Procurement or other related GSC field

Must have experience leading projects and/or processes

Basic Qualifications Senior Principal Project Management (Level 4):

Must have a Bachelor's Degree a minimum of 10 years or 8 years of experience with a Masters Degree of any/combined experience in the following: Supply Chain; Project Management, Program Management; Program Scheduling; Program Cost Analysis; Subcontracts Administration, Procurement or other related GSC field OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 14 years of experience in Supply Chain; Project Management, Program Management; Program Scheduling; Program Cost Analysis; Subcontracts Administration, Procurement or other related GSC field

Must have experience leading projects and/or processes

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior Planning and Scheduling experience (lines of balance, supply/demand, delivery metrics) within the Aerospace industryProficient in MS Office suite including Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, and TableauExperience with SAP, ERP, MRP, or similar systems

Salary Range: $88,700.00 - $133,100.00Salary Range 2: $109,900.00 - $164,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
