In this role, you will operate a variety of production equipment, including blow-mold machines, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems.

Prior experience with these specific machines is not necessary. As long as you have strong background operating equipment, we can teach you what you need to know. Operating blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocating, or shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottlesPerforming audits, weights, and quality checks Adhering to quality control, blow mold process procedure, and Good Manufacturing PracticesMaking adjustments to meet product specificationsRepairing or replacing pneumatic and hydraulic linesAssisting with preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin, and other mechanical changesGrinding excess bottle and materialTroubleshooting and resolve process problemsPreparing maintenance request forms and documenting equipment repairsTraining blow-mold employees as requiredPreparing and documenting daily reports, including rejects, regrinds, and line efficienciesEnsuring compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agenciesPerforming other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

 Required:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); associate’s degree, preferred1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related areaAbility to recommend process improvementsCommitment to safe work practicesSolid English language skillsDesire to learnApprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty, preferred
