Job Summary Job Summary

Full-time Extended Learning Program leaders create a bridge between the instruction provided during the day and the continuation of academic support and enrichment in the extended learning program. ELP Leaders are responsible for serving as a day-time learning facilitator in classrooms in order to understand the current academic needs and goals of students so that they can create and deliver engaging and related academic and enrichment activities to students enrolled in the extended learning program. ELP Leaders must be independent and responsible workers who conduct themselves in an appropriate manner, setting an example for children, parents and co-workers by reflecting the schools core values of relationships, equity, transparency, communication and mutual respect. The person selected for this position will be under the direct supervision of the ELP Manager and will be responsible for providing an appropriately safe, caring and enriching environment for the children enrolled in the Extended Learning Program (ELP).  

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: --High School Diploma or General Equivalent --2-4 years of experience and/ or Associate Degree, in early childhood education and/or development highly --Experience working with children of varied ages highly --CPR and First Aid Certification (training given, if needed)
