Expert Physician, Limited Term (Per Diem)
About the Role We’re looking for a Board Certified, Orthopedic Surgeon with specialty in Spine, Total Joints or Sports Medicine to join the Hinge Health medical team providing Expert Medical Opinion on a part-time/per diem basis. As part of this team, you will deliver Expert Medical Opinions for patients with MSK concerns including diagnostic review, diagnosis, education and treatment. Using evidence-based clinical guidelines, you will provide best practice recommendations and high-impact guidance to patients facing a range of decisions about their care. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your clinical expertise and Hinge Health’s market leading technology enabled solutions to provide MSK patients both a better experience and better outcomes. This is a 1 year, limited term position The ideal candidate is board certified, has 5+ years of full time post-training clinical experience treating MSK patients, has experience providing second opinions, and is able to write clear, concise, comprehensive reports. What You'll Accomplish Deliver high value, personalized recommendation with an emphasis on education and shared decision making Provide comprehensive recommendations that addresses comorbid, behavioral and lifestyle contributions to MSK symptoms Delight with an exceptional patient experience (what you’d want for your loved ones) Basic Qualifications Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery with secondary certification (or extensive expertise) in one of the following specialties: Spine Total Joints Sports Medicine Clinical: Deep expertise in treating MSK conditions Experience working on multidisciplinary teams Deep understanding of surgical indications Holistic treatment and practice philosophy Up to date on contemporary and emerging treatment modalities and approaches Effective communication, both written and verbally Preferred Qualifications Experience working in digital health Expertise in biopsychosocial approach to care and/or Lifestyle Medicine The hourly pay rate for this position is $500/hour About Hinge Health Hinge Health is moving people beyond pain by transforming the way it is treated and prevented.
