Expert Customer Financial Services Security Advisor (f/m/d)

What you`ll do:
Summary:

The Customer Information Security Advisory (CISA) Team is part of SAP Global Security and Compliance and plays a crucial role in supporting our sales colleagues. We are advisors on security compliance related topics in customer deal negotiations and advisors to improve SAPs internal processes. Currently, we are in the process of developing a new Global Financial Services (FS) Office. The Global FS Office advises customer and internal departments to be compliant security compliance related regulatory requirements in the Financial Services area. In this role, you support the closure of sales deals and identify customer requirements to improve the internal processes meet the customer requirements. You will act as the customer contact for security compliance discussions and negotiations regarding SAP Cloud Solutions. Additionally, you will help the different SAP Lines of Business to define and implement the necessary End-to-End process for financial services requirements to be compliant to global regulations.  You will also support the implementation of new global Financial Services regulatory requirements. (e.g., DORA).  You will also develop and maintain a solid knowledge base in regional security and compliance topics, including data protection and industry-specific compliance obligations, to answer customer questions and support contract negotiations.  In this role it’s crucial to interact with many internal departments as a liaison related Security compliance topics with departments like SAP Global Security and Cloud Compliance, Sales, different Lines of Business, Customer Audit Team, or Legal. In addition, as an expert you may also touch base with regulatory authorities.

 

What you bring:

Degree in e.g., Business Economics, Business Informatics, Law, Business Law, Computer Science, Information Security, or Cyber Security.  Solid (5 to 10 years) experience in Financial Services regulations, in security compliance or in Financial Services related sales, or legal roles.  Proficiency in global security compliance and/or financial services regulatory requirements such as DORA, EBA Guideline or similar.  Experience in supporting and advising on the implementation of security compliance measures and requirements is nice to have.  Experience to work collaboratively with various internal departments in managing security compliance issues.  Motivated and flexible to learn new topics every day. Good communication and interpersonal skills and able to be a customer point of contact and as an internal liaison for various departments. Fluency in written and spoken German and English is a mandatory requirement for the role
