In this dynamic environment we are looking for Experienced Risk Analytics Professionals (Senior Associates and Associates) to join our Financial Services Risk & Regulation Consulting team in Athens.

 

Examples of tasks you will work on as part of the team:

As a Senior Associate/Associate you will be working on projects for leading Greek and international Banks and other financial institutions. In order to optimally support the client, you will predominantly work together with the client's experienced team members, on-site and online.

 

Advise financial institutions with risk analytics and the development, deployment, and maintenance of models that are used for risk management, risk valuation, and financial/regulatory reporting purposesAdvise on financial institutions’ risk data infrastructure, processes and systems to support reporting requirements and create the culture to become data-driven organisationsUse a broad range of tools for risk modelling and data analysis and unveil insights to the client in line with the project’s goalsProvide methodological advice to clients with respect to a wide range of risk data analytics and statistical modelling or machine learning initiativesAssist or advise the clients to respond to Regulatory and/or Reporting requirementsAssist in the preparation of client presentationsFormulate proposal development efforts for client engagement opportunitiesBe responsible for a work stream within the project working directly with client team membersDelegate to and guide junior member towards the efficient and timely delivery of complicated assignmentsAct in an organised and proactive manner to resolve issues that may arise during the course of the projectCollaborate with other PwC professionals to maximise value offered to our clientsLead internal and external team and client meetingsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key client contactsDesign approaches and solutions to important business problemsUnderstand client needs and effectively communicate solutionsContribute to the business development of PwC in your area of expertise 

What we are looking for:

At least two (2) years (for Experienced Associate) and four (4) years (for Senior Associate) relevant industry or functional work experience showing strong career progression and achievementExperience in consultancy will be highly regardedPractical experience in one or more of the following will be highly regarded:Risk management practices across major risk types e.g. Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk, Climate RisksRisk quantification methods for credit risk (e.g. PD, LGD and EAD) and other risk typesRegulatory reportingThe role of technology and data in effective risk management and the opportunities associated with new technological developmentsSound understanding of data structures; excellent command of data transformationsAdvanced working knowledge of at least one quantitative analysis tools such as SAS, SPSS, R, Python will be highly regardedWorking knowledge of SQL will be highly regardedKnowledge of key regulatory trends and developments, as well as an understanding of the role of regulation in the Financial Services industryBachelor and Masters’ degrees from top-tier universities in Banking, Risk Management, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant disciplineExcellent computer skills, a proficient user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.)Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesA motivated and enthusiastic professional with curiosity and creativityA team oriented and positive attitude, focused on collaboration with colleagues and clients at all levelsClient centric mind-set, commitment to provide excellent quality work and build long term client relationshipsAbility to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner, in English & in GreekMilitary services fulfilled
