PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Functionally report in the SGS Engineering organization to the TWM Execution Team Program Manager.Support the construction, the procurement and the implementation of TWM as designed by Design Engineering TeamBased in Spain (preferably in the area of Bilbao or Andalusia) and have regular contact with his/her direct supervisor.Proactively works with clients and Ecolab/Nalco colleagues to determine project needs and identify needs by evaluating solutions according to project specifications defined by Design TeamOn a project base, make sure to fit with the available budget for each part of the project, and able to discuss with Peers/Manager in case of any problem rising (engineering, partners, and fabricants) during the project execution and improve construction methods.Be able to communicate with many levels of personnel with Nalco Company and external (i.e. Customer, Contractors).Maintain customer relationships and coordinate to address technical/business issues and renewals within existing TWM Contracts.Defines the quality acceptance criteria for usual equipment (pumps, blower...).Define the Expediting and QA/QC Plan and Strategy.Coordinate inspections of projects between suppliers and inspection agency if applicable.To manage a team of Expeditors and Inspectors and monitor the goal to meet the delivery requirements of manufactured products associated to international standards such as ISO, ASME, API...Contract revision (Standards, technical specifications ...), purchase order acknowledge.Ensures the control of the contractual deadlines associated to ordered equipment.Suppliers follow up and management piloting to accomplish the objectives in terms of delivery dates.Provides a report of the inspection and a Final Release Certificate to authorize the delivery of the equipment on site.Documentation review (from Supplier and Costumer).State of progress in relation to the contractual planning.State and progress of the outsourcing provider of the supplier.Identify needs on required tests, problems, analysis of the possible delaysDefine Corrective action with Design Team department support and / or external support.In coordination with Project Manager reports to internal and external customers about all detected delay in the equipment delivery, as well as all anomalies and deviations foundIf necessary, planning update in accordance with the results of the visit.Participate to the improvement of the Expediting and Quality Control process.RECOMMENDED PROFILE
Education: Chemical / Environmental / Mechanical Engineering DegreeMinimum 7 years experience with the design and supporting the sale of water and/or wastewater equipment and systems, including clarification, filtration, membrane separation, RO/UF, DAF, solids separation, metals, removal and biological, to industrial clients.Minimum 5 years of proven experience in project executionHaving min Minimum 5 years of proven experience working with Main Engineering Standards and Knowledge of international norms and codes (ISO, ATEX, API, ASME...) and their implementation.Communication skills: English & Spanish fluent written and verbalBe familiar with engineering drawings (P&ID, General Arrangement, Isometric sketches, data sheets, troubleshooting list, electrical and automation drawings, etc..).Familiarity and experience with water treatment plant commissioning and start-upHave had experience, even if limited, with plant operation & maintenance.Be aware of Safety & Environmental aspects of legislation.Be able to analyze water and wastewater systems from a mechanical, operational and chemical standpoint and propose solutions that comply with customer needs and the regulatory framework.Knowledge of most common mechanical equipment (pumps, valves, blower...), pipingAbility to manage and review an Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Review of technical specification of equipment, understand water treatment equipment fabrication.Master fabrication shop inspections, tests witnessing, non-conformity...Ability to analyze equipment defect and prescribe and / or implement corrective action.Ability to perform inspection at vendor and / or subcontractor facility.Ability to handle Expediting and QA/QC responsibility in senior level.People relating attitude and capable to work in teamSynthesis and pragmatic approachAble to manage conflict and job-related pressureProblem-solving skillsAbility and willingness to travel 50% of time to perform proper discovery and developing the cost basis for each project and present proposed solutions.High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office suite, and ability to learn business systems) .
