Our ideal candidate: 

2 years Waitperson experience preferred.  Excellent communication and interactive skills.  Ability to lift and carry large, heavy banquet trays and beverage trays.  Literacy and fluency in English Mobility to move quickly and easily through restaurant and kitchen areas 

 

About the role:

Receive and review customer orders to ensure accuracy. Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food items. Inspect and ensure that all dishes are properly cooked, presented, and garnished before being sent to customers. Work closely with waitstaff to ensure that orders are delivered to the correct tables. Monitor and manage food inventory to minimize waste and maintain adequate supplies. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area. Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines. Train new staff members as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

 

A few more things: 

Must be able to work inside and maneuver throughout assigned station during entire shift.  Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds and bend, pull and carry stock to refrigerator and cabinets.  Must be able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping counters.  Must possess the manual dexterity to complete required “side work”.    Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.  Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.    Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.

Depending on experience, pay starts at $17.50 an hour
