Overview We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing dental practice. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to our patients while assisting the dentist in various procedures. Schedule (days/hours) Monday-Thursday from 7:45AM to 5PM occasional Friday's Responsibilities Assist the dentist during dental procedures such as restorations, crowns, and extractions. Perform expanded functions as authorized by state regulations (e.g., placing and finishing restorations, taking impressions, applying sealants). Prepare and sterilize instruments and work areas. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays). Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans. Ensure patient comfort and care during procedures. Educate patients on dental care, hygiene practices, and aftercare instructions. Manage inventory of dental supplies and reorder as necessary. Comply with all safety and infection control regulations.
