**The opportunity**
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring full-time Exhibits Maintenance Technicians to join our team at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. As Exhibits Maintenance Technician, you will build, install, and operate exhibits at the property.
**Pay**
$25.43 - $44.55 / hour

**What will you do?**
+ Install new exhibits, renovate, and clean existing exhibits, and change out defective exhibit elements.
+ Perform a wide range of trades and operations such as electrical wiring, carpentry, painting, and structure construction.
+ Conduct system analysis and diagnose malfunctions on electrical equipment and replace with spare parts when required.
+ Repair cabinetry and static displays using a wide range of materials including Formica, fiberglass, gluing, soldering, and painting.
+ Diagnose and repair PLC and computer-controlled AV Systems by reading and understanding schematics.
+ Practice good housekeeping by managing a clean and tidy work area.
+ Drive a company vehicle around the KSC property.
**More about you**
+ Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
+ Valid Driver’s License is required as you will be driving a company vehicle around the property.
+ Associates Degree in electronics technology or 8 years equivalent work experience in the maintenance industry.
+ Knowledge of DVD technology, video monitors, video projectors, computers, computer repair, laserdisc players, and MPEG-2 technology.
+ Some knowledge of electricity and mechanics.
**Physical requirements**
+ Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
+ Constant standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive motions.
+ Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift.
+ Requires work indoors and with the presence of chemical fumes, dust, and noise.
