Your Role

This is a multi-facet position with primary responsibility in the Executive Protection and Global Events areas. The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide close protection of the CEO.  This position is also responsible for the security staff at the permanent residence of the CEO in the greater New York City area, as well as the daily advances and transportation of the CEO while they are in the greater NYC area. Additionally, this position will be involved in conducting protective advances for a series of Warner Bros. Discovery domestic and international events. These events include Theatrical premiers, sporting events, political events, senior leadership meetings, etc.

Your Role Accountabilities

Safeguarding the CEO’s safety and security by conducting risk assessments, developing protection plans, managing travel logistics and maintaining discreet presence during all public and private events.Daily Transportation of CEOAssessing residence for security risk and recommending improvements.Conducting Events AdvancesMaintain open communication with CEO and Security leadership and provide regular updates on security risks and incidents.Assigned to assist with Executive Protection for special events when CEO is traveling.Demonstrated ability for discretion and confidentiality as this position will be privileged to sensitive information.

Qualifications & Requirements

10 + years in Security Operations and prior experience working with C-Suite Executives neededExperience in conducting advance security planning at temporary site neededCollege Degree preferredCPR Certification requiredDefensive Driver Training preferredExecutive Protection Training preferredCritical Decision abilities and Diplomatic Negotiation skills preferredAdvanced threat assessment and risk management skills.Excellent communication & interpersonal skillsValid NY driver’s license and 6 months of clean driving history requiredDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity (NDA required)Extensive Domestic and International Travel required.Position requires physical exertion such as riding a bike, walking/standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, and lifting/maneuvering items weighing up to 50+ lbs.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Valid Guard Card requiredCurrent Exposed Firearms Permit requiredCurrent Concealed Weapons Permit requiredPass pre-employment background investigation which includes drug screening

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $80000.00 - $127,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
